Phew, what a busy week! All the grown ups in school were especially proud of the children's behaviour and adapting to new situations. We think everyone deserves a break now! Happy holidays!
We have been learning about Christmas in EYFS. This links to 'People and Communities' in the EYFS curriculum and also helps to develop tolerance of other faiths as part of promoting British Values. First we put on our Winter Show, then got ready for Christmas by making cards and decorations. We had a Christmas party where mums and dads were invited to share food and play party games with us, and we had lots of fun playing pass the parcel and pin the star on the Christmas tree, as well as lots of eating and dancing! We met Father Christmas and everyone got a special present. Finally we wore our Christmas jumpers and donated to TextSanta.
