It is show and tell every Friday afternoon in Reception and today lots of the boys and girls brought exciting things to show us!Show and tell is a great opportunity to speak in sentences, listen carefully to our friends and even ask and answer questions!
The children have come back to school so sensibly after the holidays! Today we have been ordering numbers. To achieve the Number Early Learning Goal at the end of Reception we need to order numbers 1-20. We have also been exploring the new blocks and talking about 3D shapes. To achieve the Shape, Space and Measure Early Learning Goal by the end of Reception we need to use mathematical language to describe everyday objects and shapes. The girls have also been making potions in the sand area. To achieve the Shape, Space and Measure Early Learning Goal by the end of Reception we need to use everyday language to talk about capacity. The boys have been playing cooperatively and developing their own story.
