In Reception we have started going for a morning walk each day to help to get us ready to learn. We love the fresh air!

The children have stated the new term learning all about the season of winter through our new 'Frozen' topic. Fingers crossed for some icy, snowy, frozen weather to explore!

We have had some ice and snow in Reception today and the children were challenged to build an ice palace for Elsa!

Where has the ice gone?

Mrs Kotwal and Aisha Siddiqa have both been to Mecca over the holidays. They brought some pictures and some treats for everyone to share at Show and Tell this week. We tried zamzam (holy) water and different kinds of dates, they were very sweet and tasty! Mrs Kotwal and Aisha Siddiqa told us about walking around the Kaaba 7 times and visiting another special mosque in Madina.
