This afternoon we have made our very own magic wands! The children created fruit kebabs linked to our new 'fantasy' theme. They have been learning about healthy eating and some children even created a pattern with the fruit to continue their super maths work from last week!
Our new theme is 'Frozen', and the weather has been perfect for us! Here some of the girls are performing 'Let it go' outside in the snow. Ladybirds and Busy Bees have been learning about Christmas and talking about the special days different people celebrate. Lucas remembered that Christmas is "baby Jesus's birthday"! The children have made Christmas cards and crafts for their families. They helped to decorate the Christmas tree. They even had a special visit from Santa! And on our last day we had a wonderful party! Thank you to all the grown ups that sent in delicious food. We ate lots, danced, had a fashion show and played party games. Then to finish the day we had a slice of yummy cake! Happy New Year to all of our families from Miss Haydon and all of the EYFS team! We hope you have a wonderful 2015. Have any grown ups or children made new year's resolutions? |
