The boys and girls made some Easter cakes... chocolate cornflake nests are Miss Bell's favourites!
The children talked about what happened when the chocolate was warmed, and waited patiently for it to cool again! They talked about melting, which links to 'Understanding the World'.
The boys and girls have been learning about the Easter story. We had lots of interesting discussions about what Christians and Muslims believe. We talked about the symbolism of Easter eggs as a representation of new life, during Spring and Jesus' resurrection. The children then hunted for Easter eggs outside!
A special thank you to Meru's mum who sent eggs with a treat inside for all of the Reception boys and girls!
