This week the nursery children visited the farm, we were so lucky to get to see some wonderful animals and meet 'Farmer Steve.' The children started their journey by travelling on the coach to the farm, all the children were so well behaved. Once we got to the farm we learnt all about different eggs and they change as they arm warmed up by mother hen. We then were very lucky and were able to feed the two donkeys Linford and Beth, they both love carrots, we were taught all about their teeth and even got to see their hooves being trimmed. We then explored the farm, feeding the goats, chickens and sheep. We collected fresh eggs and ended the session with a snack. A big thanks to Farmer Steve at Ladybridge Farm, thank you for letting us explore the farm.
