Mrs Pickup has been working across the EYFS to encourage children to become more confident to speak English. As most of our children enter EYFS with English as an additional language, it is so important that we provide children with the confidence to speak English, so they can thrive during their time at school.
This week the children have been looking at how to eat a balanced diet. The children started by watching Avocado baby:
The children then tasted a range of pears including an avocado pear, they talked about the smells, tastes and textures.
The children they created a tally chart of which fruit they liked the most.
Why not ask your child about which pear they liked the most and why?
