Year 5 took a trip to Haslam Park Primary school on Monday 23rd January to meet an author called Rob Lloyd Jones. Rob has a background in Egyptology and Archaeology and went on many expeditions abroad, he has said that the only thing he really found on these trips was good stories which is why he then became a writer. He talked about his new book Jake Atlas and the Tomb of the Emerald Snake – which is set in in Egypt. Year 5 had a great afternoon!
