The Butterflies have really enjoyed taking home Share Bear for the week, each day names are put into the kind hands box for those who have done kind things and are a good role model to others, at the end of the week a name is pulled from the box and they get to enjoy a few days with Share Bear, I really enjoy reading your time with the bear. The Butterflies really enjoyed moving under and over the spider's web during nursery rhyme week. The children had make their way to the other side of the web, they all had a good attempt at weaving through the web and really used their physical skills.
The butterflies have been busy moving around like fireworks, the class also learned about what you may see and hear on bonfire night and how to be safe.
I hope everybody had a brilliant bonfire night!!
We have had such a good first week in the Butterflies class and have all settled really well. During our first week we have explored our new environment and even completed a wiggle and squiggle session.
The children in nursery visited the museum on Friday, everyone walked very sensibly and we had lots of parental support so thank you to everyone who came with us. The children were shown around by Alex who helped us to dig for fossils, we then looked at the Chinese stegosaurus on display and the T-Rex head that was also on display. Each child then created a dinosaur picture and shared a story. We had a brilliant day, thank you to Bolton Library and Museum service and to all our parents.
