Today we went into the 6th grade class(11-12ys) to teach a lesson. We showed them photographs and a video of our school- which they loved! We talked to them about Bolton in the past and used Lowry to show the children what the town looked like. We then gave the children the opportunity to become Lowry and recreate the famous piece' going to the mill' We had a brilliant time! Mrs Cousen &Mrs Mc

Sounds like the pupils enjoyed recreating Lowry paintings just as much as we did!

The classroom had lots of displays from around the world to make us feel welcome. We had a great time teaching, the children were really interested and listened well. They enjoyed painting and produced some brilliant work.
