What was your favourite part of the day?
And just as importantly - what did we learn from it? What can words do?
We had an awesome visitor in school today - Craig Bradley, also known as That Poetry Bloke! We all really enjoyed the performances and couldn't stop laughing! What was your favourite part of the day? And just as importantly - what did we learn from it? What can words do?

The poet was hilarious. We all couldn't stop laughing. We learnt that words can create a picture in our heads. I really enjoyed it . Thank you Mr Sharrock and Miss Walker.

They can indeed! That's why we have to think of the best word choices whenever we are writing.

I thought it was really funny when he through his underwear on year 5 and when he pulls his hair up and looks like a baboon. I liked when Mrs McCaffrey sang a funny song and when you have to clap but in a different way. That know one could clap to seven.

It was very funny when he threw them, yes! It's strange that no-one could do it! I wonder if our class could follow instructions like that and get them perfectly right...

I enjoyed it when the poet came, he made me laugh a lot. My favourite bit was when he made 3 boys come up to the front and they had to say the tongue twisters. I hope I can have this experience again.
