Do Computers speak in English, Spanish or German? No
In order for us to understand how programming works we need to understand how computers speak. Computers use a system of on/off to generate codes, these codes are what we interpret as 1s and 0s. These codes then convert to something we can read and understand such as letters and words. Computers use a Base-2 Number System called the Binary Number System. Binary numbers are 0 and 1. We use the Base-10 Number system consisting of digits 0-9, the Denary (or Decimal) Number system!
