On Tuesday 5CB and 5RW went to the Liverpool World museum, as part of our theme 'How the World Works'. I would recommend this museum as an alternative to Bolton museum for a number of reasons. Firstly, they have educators on site who run informative workshops about sea creatures and mini-beasts. Secondly, they have five floors of exhibitions, including a 'Bug House' and 'Dinosaurs' section. In addition, they have an Ancient Egypt department which, unfortunately, was closed on the day that we went. Their gift shop was well-stocked and the items were quite reasonably priced. Personally, my favourite section was the natural history room. To conclude, I will definitely return to Liverpool museum in the future.
