This week the children had an introduction on the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. We asked ourselves what freedom was "You can go anywhere."said Huda A. "Freedom means to be free", "Freedom is where you can do anything you want." said Maria. A. We developed our understanding of human rights by considering different scenarios and asking ourselves whether these represented freedom or not. Thank you to our KS2 volunteers who read out some of the key articles from the convention. Well done to Fuad who remembered that it was 1992 when the UK made the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child a British law.
